Description

The primary purpose of this PT is to provide an opportunity for participants to demonstrate proficiency in the calibration of a 10,000 psig pressure gauge. This PT kit contains a Crystal XP2i 10,000 psig pressure gauge. Participants will use their standard lab procedures to perform measurements.

Sample instructions

To complete this PT you will need a pressure standard that has the ability to generate 10,000 psi or more and has the readability of 1 psi or better. You have two weeks to complete, return results, and test asset back to Lake Balance Calibration Solutions.

  1. Exercise PRESSURE-101 three times to full scale prior to recording results.
  2. Generate 1000 psi and record reading and uncertainty on the Data Reporting Sheet.
  3. Generate 2000 psi and record reading and uncertainty on the Data Reporting Sheet.
  4. Generate 3000 psi and record reading and uncertainty on the Data Reporting Sheet.
  5. Generate 4000 psi and record reading and uncertainty on the Data Reporting Sheet.
  6. Generate 5000 psi and record reading and uncertainty on the Data Reporting Sheet.
  7. Generate 6000 psi and record reading and uncertainty on the Data Reporting Sheet.
  8. Generate 7000 psi and record reading and uncertainty on the Data Reporting Sheet.
  9. Generate 8000 psi and record reading and uncertainty on the Data Reporting Sheet.
  10. Generate 9000 psi and record reading and uncertainty on the Data Reporting Sheet.
  11. Generate 10,000 psi and record reading and uncertainty on the Data Reporting Sheet.
  12. Email results and your uncertainty budget to proficiency@lakebalance.com
  13. After you've received your completed test results return to Lake Balance Calibration Solutions.
