200 g Analytical Balance PT

To complete this PT you will need a balance set to grams that has a capacity of 200 g or more and has a readability of 0.1 mg or better. When you receive the test weight box marked ANALYTICAL-104 please allow 24 hours before the test to acclimate to room temperature.

1. Calibrate the balance with your weight set and fill out a calibration report like you would for a customer. Use Lake Balance Calibration Solutions as the customer.
2. Then open the test weight box marked ANALYTICAL-104.
3. Apply 20 g weight and record reading and uncertainty on the Data Reporting Sheet.
4. Apply 30 g weight and record reading and uncertainty on the Data Reporting Sheet.
5. Apply 50 g weight and record reading and uncertainty on the Data Reporting Sheet.
6. Apply 100 g weight and record reading and uncertainty on the Data Reporting Sheet.
7. Apply all weights (200 g) and record reading and uncertainty on the Data Reporting Sheet.
8. Email results and your uncertainty budget to proficiency@lakebalance.com
9. After you've received your completed test results return to Lake Balance Calibration Solutions.
